QR code questions
Does the inventory QR expire?
No automatic expiration is set. The QR uses a stable list address, so you can keep adding and updating items without printing a new code.
What happens when I add a password?
The password is one-way hashed. A visitor must enter it before seeing the list, and a successful unlock lasts for a limited browser session.
Who can edit a public inventory?
The public view link is read-only. The downloaded QR also carries a separate edit key in its URL fragment, allowing people with the physical label to update items.
